Collection: Neys

An end-blown flute made from bamboo reeds the ney is used in Persian, Turkish, Jewish, and Arabic music, and is sometimes the only wind instrument used in some of these traditions. The ney is made from a knotty reed called pike, which grows in the Mediterranean, Aegean, and Southeastern Anatolia regions of Turkey. Neys come in different keys and can be made for right and left hand dexterity,
