We call it the White Knight a truly original short-neck baglama made by our luthiers in Turkey. The White Knight bears a Walnut Bowl, a spruce top (also used in other Turkish instruments such as ouds) and has 19 frets. Bridge to the nut is 71 cm (28 inches) and the size of the bowl is 41 cm (around 16 inches). The width and the depth of the instrument is around 9 inches. The glossy white finish adds its own character and hence the name. The neck is ornate with Anatolian motifs in contrasting black. The White Knight comes pre wired and in its own custom gigbag, a separate set of strings for future use and plectrums.
